The mixxt GmbH is a provider of innovative Social Network and Online Community solutions and operator of the European Community platform mixxt. mixxt lets everyone create an individual Community and helps making communication and organisation easier and more efficient. Community hosts can directly get in contact with their customers or target group and present themselves as interactive and innovative, without renouncing privacy, structure or an own design.

The name "mixxt"

Our name "mixxt" plays with the English term "mixed". On our platform, people from different countries, cultures and interests connect, share multimedia works and create new content. mixxt is always written in lower-case.

A brief history

In autumn 2006, our founders came up with the idea for a Social Network kit and started developing the source code. The mixxt GmbH was founded in October 2007 and is supported by several international investors. One important step was our launch in Poland in May 2008, as well as the release of our Turkish version one month later. The company is based in Bonn, with additional local contacts in Britain, Turkey and Poland.
